We traveled to Boston for Disney on Ice today. We were excited for the show, but shortly after leaving Kelly & Jim's house, Zach informed us that he just wanted to go home...he didn't want to go to Disney On Ice. He told us he just liked to watch Mickey on TV, but not see him skating. After this comment, we realized that he was probably having some anxiety about seeing Mickey in person...he has recently had some major fears about mascots. When I asked him about this, he admitted that he was scared and didn't want to go. We assured him that they were just pretend and we would keep him safe, but he would have none of it. When we arrived at the Garden in Boston, we literally had to pull him from his carseat, crying and insisting he wasn't going to the show. It was hard to see him so upset, but we really thought he'd enjoy the show, once inside. We were right...once we were in our seats and the characters were on the ice, his eyes were glued to the ice and he did enjoy the show....

We met up with Candice, Ken, Max & Brody. Our kids had never met before, but are all close in age, so it was fun to get them together!
Zach is still very nervous and insisting he doesn't want to go, but these two are ready!
