I would like to say that the kids were excited for the Easter Bunny to come...and I think for the most part, they were, but Zach definitely had a bit of anxiety about the thought of the Easter Bunny being in our house. He got really quiet this afternoon and then asked, "Mommy, will the Easter Bunny come in my room". I could sense his nerves (don't forget, he is not a big fan of mascots...), so I told him that the Easter Bunny definitely didn't go upstairs...it stayed downstairs, hid the Easter Baskets and quickly hopped to another house. I think there was a bit of relief and of course the thought of an Easter Basket of goodies certainly helps, but I'm not convinced that Zach is thrilled with the idea of the Easter Bunny!
The Easter Bunny got plenty of carrots from our house!
